01Information we collect
We may collect names, email addresses, social sign-in provider identifiers, mobile numbers, session preferences, attendance information, venue submissions, messages sent to support, and technical information normally recorded by website hosting services. Public session requests use Google or Facebook sign-in before a mobile number can be submitted.
02How we use information
We use information to operate venue listings, verify session requests, allow hosts to manage attendance, respond to support enquiries, prevent misuse, maintain website security, and improve BadmintonHub. We do not publish player mobile numbers on public session pages.
03Who can see mobile numbers
The mobile number provided with a session request is available to the host of that session. It is used so the host can confirm genuine interest and contact the player. Mobile numbers are not verified in the current release, so players are responsible for providing the correct number. Other players and public visitors cannot see it.
04Service providers
BadmintonHub may use Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database and authentication services, Google and Meta for social sign-in, Hostinger for domain and email services, Google services for maps and venue information, and YouTube for training content. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
05Storage and security
We use access controls, encrypted website connections, social authentication, and restricted administration to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained only while reasonably required to operate the relevant feature, resolve issues, meet legal obligations, or protect the service.
06Access, correction, and deletion
You may ask what personal information BadmintonHub holds about you, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant session or submission. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
07Children
BadmintonHub is not designed for children to provide personal information independently. A parent, guardian, club, or responsible organiser should supervise participation and communication involving minors.
08Changes and contact
This policy may change as the website and its providers develop. The latest version will remain available on this page. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to support@badmintonhub.com.au.
